I was diagnosed with a triple-positive stage 2(?) invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) in November 2020. I had lumpectomy surgery and a sentinel node biopsy ten days later in spite of COVID-19, and will be starting AC-T chemotherapy at the beginning of February, followed up with radiation and trastuzumab (Herceptin) infusions for another year. This blog will outline some of my experiences so I don’t have to repeat myself in great detail to everyone who wants to know how I’m doing. I’m sure this will also be interesting for me to look back on.
